The deep chairs face the speakers, the pour-over runs steady, and the stack is changed between sides rather than between tracks, so the music keeps its shape. Times are set each week, and every evening closes with an open request slice from the public rack.
Two open sittings run nightly, and each sitting seats a deliberately small number so the sound stays honest. Come alone with a book, or come with a friend who finally needs to hear what you have been talking about for years. Arrive a little early, because the best chairs by the north window go first.

Espresso service and vinyl culture
The espresso bar is open every listening night and by arrangement for private bookings. A single-origin roast is ground to order for each shot, pulled short, and served with a small glass of still water so the first taste is clean. The pour-over station uses a gooseneck kettle and a hand grinder, and each cup is weighed and timed rather than guessed.
Milk drinks follow the orthodox menu. A flat white is steamed tight and poured flat. A cortado stays short. A cappuccino keeps a drier foam and a lighter hand. Decaf appears on the list only after sundown, for the listeners who want to stay late without the tail-end of caffeine. Everything is served on the counter between the lamp and the record wall.

Fresh crate on the table
On a discovery night a sealed crate of second-hand records arrives from the trade box, the paper tags come off, and the room pulls one sleeve after another out of mystery. Nobody may look at the disc before the needle drops. Some draws are obvious classics, some are oddities to be laughed at, and a few become slow obsessions that get replayed until close.
Discovery nights run twice a month and are limited to a smaller room to keep the pace comfortable. Guests are welcome to bring one record from the house rack to offer the group, but the mystery draws still come first. The evening ends with a short vote, and the winning track is pressed back to the wall for the month.

Take over the room
A private sound session gives your group sole use of the listening room for a booked window. Bring your own record stack or choose from the house library, and a host runs the turntable and answers every question about the pressing. These hours suit a pair settling a long debate over a favourite album, a small label hosting a listening party, or a family bringing an old box of singles across the generations.
Each session is priced on the party size and the length of the window, and the price includes the coffee service for the group. A session runs one to three hours, and every booking is closed with a clean of the cartridge and a fresh sleeve check before the next guest.

Hardware nights
A few dates each season are set aside for the equipment itself. A host walks a small group through the way a cartridge is aligned, the way a platter is levelled, and the reason a good phono stage changes the character of an entire collection. Guests are invited to bring along a record they know well, because a familiar side is the fairest yardstick for any change in the chain. The evening rarely ends with a sale. It ends, more often than not, with a plan to go home, clean the collection and listen to a whole shelf again with fresh ears.
